Emily's Bridal Portrait: Sneak Peak
I love catching people in a candid smile. There is just something about it. It's so natural, so REAL.

Sticks of Lake Murray
Over the weekend I had the awesome chance to visit Dreher Island State Park on Lake Murray. I'm used to the deep finger lakes of Upstate New York, not these shallow, warm lakes of the south. One of the things that stuck out to me (literally) was that even many feet out from the shore, there were sticks sticking out of the water. Not sure how they got out there, but I took advantage of their photographic nature! I think this would be a cool series for a bathroom or something... I may have to get on that!

Snow? In Greenville?
I'm not sure what's up with the bipolar weather down here. This past weekend it was a beautiful 70 degrees, sunny, slight breeze, perfect... but just a couple weekends before this was the weather. Lots more to come...

Kelly and Christian are married!!
Kelly and Christian were one of the first people entered in my free photography giveaway. Their story really hung on to me throughout the entire process of selecting the finalists. They were just so in love, so selfless. Christian was in the army, Kelly was strong enough to live up with the lifestyle. Yet they stuck with each other.
As finalists in the contest they were awarded with free photography, retouching, and a disk of all the images of their wedding ceremony. And what a ceremony it was! This was the same weekend of Greenville's big ice storm. I was excited that I made it out of my driveway and an hour later...to the ceremony. It was all worth it. Here are some of my favorites from their ceremony. Enjoy!

Winter in Greenville
I thought that I was going to get away from the snow when I moved south. I guess this weekend proved me wrong. Shooting in the snow is always a good time though. It's amazing how different it makes everything look. Here are some pictures from our ice storm. Enjoy!

Carly and Kurt's Greenville SC Wedding!
Ever since I met Carly and Kurt I knew they were the type of couple that would have an awesome wedding day. They are just so fun, adventurous, and full of love for each other that even a little drizzle wouldn't spoil anything. I don't know where I get to meet such awesome people, but I'm not going to complain.
Carly and Kurt got married at Saint Michael Lutheran Church on August Road, just south of Greenville. After an awesome, intimate ceremony, we headed down to Falls Park downtown for some pictures. I told them to just trust me that although it was rainy and dark, the pictures would be well worth it. I do have to say we got some of my most favorite shots ever down on that famous suspension bridge.
After that we walked down to Saffron's Cafe for the reception. Let me tell you, these guys know how to party. The whole place was rockin until they finally had to end it. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Enjoy!
These iphone's actually take pretty decent pictures!
Where do I find such gorgeous glowing Brides?
I'm a little bias, this is the exact model camera that I first got into photography with!
Dont' try this at home
Dad/Daughter Dance
Some of the best cake ever
I love wedding's where they have enough cake to feed a small army
Mom getting in on the action!
Alright this is just brilliant, take the congo line past the bar!
Thanks for lookin!
