J Jones Photography: 2009 South Carolina Wedding Photographer Contest Results

I had the awesome chance of attending the first annual South Carolina Wedding Photographer of the Year contest yesterday. It was held in downtown Columbia, SC and featured a bunch of award winning judges, awesome wedding photographers, and of course, amazing wedding images.

After over four hours of intense judging and viewing over a thousand stunning photos I ended up winning honorable mention award! I won this award for one of my images taken during alexa and preston's engagement session last year. The photo was also the #1 engagement photo shown during the entire competition!

Congrats to all the winners and I look forward to next year!

Spring has come to downtown Greenville SC!

I took my good friend Logan downtown yesterday to show him the city. Naturally I brought the good ol' nikon along for the ride. The city was more alive than usual, with thousands of people out enjoying the first official day of spring! Here are a few of my favorites!
