Edisto Beach Island

Last weekend my girlfriend decided to take me on a little adventure for my belated birthday. We headed off to this remote little island just 45 minutes south of Charleston, SC. Edisto Island is one of the only islands still inside a national forest, and that means the trees look really awesome.

She wanted to surprise me with a great place to take some pictures, and WOW she was right! Sunlight, blue skies, palm trees, warm ocean, crabs, black headed seagulls, twisted trees. I took a ton of great photos during the day but here are a few of my favorites!

  1. Great photos! Such a nice sunny beach! Today is Canada Day and I was supposed to go to the beach, but it's 15 degrees and has been raining for about 5 days. :(

Hope you have a warm and dry 4th of July!

  2. My favorite photos are your nature and outdoor scenes, although your people pics are wonderful too. I just started taking photos this past year (other than my jewelry pics) and found a new passion. I am very much a newbie, but a happy one! I have a nature collection on flickr, under oneheartjewelry. May I ask what kind of camera you use for your outdoor shots? Happy shooting!
