Over Christmas break my mom gave my dad and I the task of running out to the Rochester Public Market to fetch some fresh Grapefruits, Lettuce, Apples, and other assorted fruits and veggies. I'd been there before and I remember it being an awesome place to get some good photos, so naturally I brought my camera along for the ride. With a wind chill of 10°F it wasn't quite as crowded as usual, but it was still incredible to see how many farmers are still there, trying to make a living.

Rochester NY Public Market Photos
The Rochester NY public market is one of the coolest parts about Rochester. In an age of super walmarts and massive grocery stores it just feels good to get out and support local farmers. Don't just take it from me, because it actually won the 2010 America's Favorite Public Market award!

2011 Detroit Autoshow Preview
Having just gotten back from the 2011 Detroit Autoshow, I'm definitely on a major automotive high. This was my first year at a REAL autoshow and I have to say the show just blew me away. It couldn't even begin to compare to the last auto show I've been to, the 2009 Rochester Autoshow. Not only was the show about three times the size, the displays, cars, and overall presentation were all top notch.
Naturally I took severalhundred thousand photos while I was there. Here's a quick sneak peak... many to come very soon!

Naturally I took several

Haley and Josh are getting married!!
Ok I'll just put this out here right now. These are definitely my favorite engagement photos of the year. Sure thats easy to say now, since these are the ONLY engagement photos I've taken all year, but I think Haley and Josh set the bar pretty high for the year to come! I'm PUMPED!
Haley and Josh are troopers. We did these photos this past Sunday and it hit a balmy 25°F at the warmest part of our session. Let me just say Haley and Josh had no problem snuggling up together. I think I'm going to have to do more of my engagement sessions this time of year. I've never seen a couple so full of energy before!

Thanks again guys!!

Top 25 Wedding Photos of 2010!
Flipping back through the tens of thousands of wedding photos I've shot in the past year is always a good time to reflect on all the awesome wedding's I've gotten to document. This past year was a big year for me. I really decided to step up my game and try some new things out, and while not all of them worked perfect, they stretched me and really helped me grow as a photographer.
Of course I couldn't have done it without some fantastic couples to work with. This year was filled with nothing but awesome, easy to work with people. Not even one Bridzilla (or Groomonster, if thats a word)! Anyways without further ado, here are my top 25 wedding photos from 2010!
