Spring Engagement Session | Nikki + Aaron
I remember growing up and watching some old re-runs of the brady bunch, but I never thought that I'd actually get to meet the parents behind it. Ok, not the REAL ones. But still, Aaron has three kids, and Nikki has three kids. And they are getting married. Beside watching their bunches of kids they also enjoy making each other laugh, trying to walk though the woods in heels, and sitting in tall grasses by the side of the road. Definitely some of my favorites as well (except the heels part...).

Backyard Engagement Session | Heather + Schott
You know what I've never done up until a week ago? Shot an engagement session while I had food poisoning. I can't say I recommend it. You know what also made is more interesting? Schott was also sick. So yea, just a bunch of sick people running around in my backyard taking some photos. Did I also mention it was freezing out?
So your probably expecting the pictures to look like that. Well I'm not entirely sure what happened, but somehow we got some pretty awesome shots, and had a little bit of fun in between the frequent bathroom trips and shivers along the way. Check it out:

Thanks again for "limping" though the shoot with me!

Lake Hartwell Backyard Wedding | Allison + Adam
Adam and Allison's wedding was a breath of fresh air. Super simple. Perfectly relaxed. Go with the flow. No bridal party drama. It was just about what is really important on the wedding day: The Bride and The Groom.
Allison and Adam got married on Lake Hartwell at their family's private home on a beautiful fall day this past weekend. Pumpkin centerpieces, family and friends, and a hot apple cider, yup, they were all there! Without all the stress and drama of the formalities of the day removed, everyone was able to relax and enjoy the beautiful commitment between Allison and Adam.

Thanks again for having us guys! We had a blast! Vendors:

Suburban Subdivision Engagement Session | Amber + Ryan
It was a cool spring evening. Deb and I were on a walk around River Mist, our sublime suburban subdivision (SSS). We were talking about our days when all of sudden the thought popped in my head, "Why don't we shoot an engagement session in our subdivision!" I then proceeded to ramble on for the next 20 minutes about how the trees behind our house would be a stunning backdrop, that the dogs next door wouldn't be a problem, and that the hills would create beautiful silhouettes at sunset. She finally agreed. And just last week we did it. A full engagement shoot just a few hundred feet from our home.
Of course it takes an open minded couple to trust someone enough to shoot some of their best engaged moments in... their photographer's backyard. And that's where Amber and Ryan step in. They love to hike, they love to explore new things, and they love to have an awesome time with each other. Best of all they are crazy in love with each other, and they can't help but let it shine though to the outside. It doesn't matter if its after a long day at work or in a normal looking neighborhood in the middle of Suburbia.

Thanks again guys! Looking forward to the wedding next year!
