Beautiful Spring Wedding at Twigs Tempietto in Greenville, SC

Sometimes I wish the good shots were easy to get to. You know like you can hope right out of your BMW and stand right there in parking lot and just get that picturesque shot. But that doesn't really seem to happen very often. Parking lots are pretty ugly. So it usually requires persuading a couple to walk though a tall grassy field for a few hundred feet, dodge dozens of fire ant mounds, and try to keep the dress clean at the same time. But honestly, that's what makes those shots so awesome. To most people that just sounds like too much work, so they end up back in that parking lot, where it's safe... and boring.

I'm happy to say it wasn't too much for Jessica and Wade this past weekend. These guys are Fearless! They got married at the always gorgeous Twigs Tempietto here in Greenville, SC (where we had our wedding reception). These guys were absolute troopers, and a blast to work with too. Totally in love, and totally perfect for each other. Here are some of my favorites:

Twigs Tempietto Wedding | Ashlen + Austin

You know those days when you actually take the time to look ahead at the weather and think to yourself "I should probably bring an umbrella?" Well if you are anything like me, those are the days where it never rains. Like not even a drop. And then you have to deal with trying to hide the fact you have an umbrella with you. I don't know what it is about the actual umbrella itself but it somehow does a great job at making sure it doesn't rain. Ashlen and Austin's wedding at Twigs was further proof. It was set to pour, like all night. So I throw in the umbrella, and you know what. No rain. Yup.

Ashlen and Austin were married just a few days ago at the absolutely stunning Twigs Tempietto here in Greenville, SC. The day was staged with some absolutely beautiful color choices, beautiful details, and of course... those apprehensive clouds looming overhead. And you know what, I'm convinced that even if it did rain, Ashlen and Austin would have been just as happy. The love and connection these guys share is hard to deny. It's like they are always in their own sun-filled bubble when they are together. And I don't think that's just because I brought an umbrella to their wedding...
