Lake Keowee Engagement Session | Jessica + Daniel

I met up with Jessica and Daniel a few days ago to capture their engagement photos at their parent's lake house on Lake Keowee. Despite the looming clouds overhead we had a great time running around on a very warm January day.

Thornblade Country Club Greenville Wedding | Lauren + Josh

Lauren and Josh got married on one of those crazy weather days. First off, it was 70°... in January. And then it was sunny, which isn't too out of the ordinary here in South Carolina, but it was also... raining. Yea, don't ask me how this happens.

Lauren and Josh were married this past weekend at Edwards Road Baptist Church here in Greenville, SC with their reception following at the Thornblade Country Club. It was a day filled with stunning details, outrageous dancing, giant shrimp, and of course, the love that Lauren and Josh share for each other. Huguenot Loft Peace Center Wedding | Ann + Dave

I've always enjoyed January weddings. A lot less sweat, no super-bright directly-overhead sunlight to deal with, and no tacky Christmas decorations to avoid! And what other times of year can you legitimately rock a sweet fur coat in South Carolina?

Ann and Dave were married this past weekend at the gorgeous Huguenot Loft (part of the Peace Center) in Downtown Greenville. After a quick cocktail hour, the ceremony began. The night progressed into a mix of seared tuna, lively dancing, gin & tonics, a neon-lit cityscape and a energetic sparkler exit. An awesome wedding, with an even more awesome couple. What a perfect way to start the 2013 season!
