Huguenot Loft Peace Center Wedding | Ann + Dave

I've always enjoyed January weddings. A lot less sweat, no super-bright directly-overhead sunlight to deal with, and no tacky Christmas decorations to avoid! And what other times of year can you legitimately rock a sweet fur coat in South Carolina?

Ann and Dave were married this past weekend at the gorgeous Huguenot Loft (part of the Peace Center) in Downtown Greenville. After a quick cocktail hour, the ceremony began. The night progressed into a mix of seared tuna, lively dancing, gin & tonics, a neon-lit cityscape and a energetic sparkler exit. An awesome wedding, with an even more awesome couple. What a perfect way to start the 2013 season!

Nashville, TN Engagement Session | Whitney + Allen

Add this one to the list of proof that I get to work with some of the coolest people ever born.

When Whitney and Allen invited me out to Nashville, Tennessee to shoot their engagement session naturally I was pretty excited. I mean even though I really am not a big fan of country music, I'm a big fan of music in general, and I've heard awesome things about Nashville. I mean if you can create a full TV series based on one city, it's gotta have a lot of stuff to do right?

Three bottles of wine, one flat tire, and six locations later, I think we got to experience as much of the city as humanly possible in a 24-hour period. Downtown Honky Tonk Bars, a Giant Convention Center, the iconic city skyline, dozens of cowboy hat stores, a famous recording studio, a local winery, and one awesome pizza shop. Wow, what a weekend!



Starting off with a little vino... not a bad idea!
