Lauren and Joe Downtown Greenville Engagement Session

Lauren and Joe are a perfect example of couples that can still keep the romance even after being together a long time. I talked them into meeting me early downtown so we could get that awesome morning light. This was their first trip to downtown Greenville and it was great to show them around town. After some coffee we got down to business, taking some incredible images all over downtown. I'll soon have the awesome chance to capture the most amazing day of their lives, their wedding. Furman Engagement Session: Jen and Eric

Jen and Eric are an awesome couple from Hendersonville, NC who drove all the way down to furman university to meet me for an engagement session. I think once they see these photos they will definitely say it was worth the drive. It was an absolutely beautiful day on campus and love was definitely in the air. Here are a few of my favorites!

Cornerstone Church: Easter 2010

My church really knows how to put on a great show! We have some extremely talented artists, actors, and directors. When they all get together, they making something incredible. This past Sunday they put on a dramatic presentation for Easter. A lot of work went into it and it definitely paid off. Not only was it entertaining to watch, but 9 people decided to give their life to Christ. There is nothing more fulfilling than doing photography for a cause like this. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I had taking them:

Quick Photo Tip: Getting In Close

Wow its been forever since I've posted some basic photo tips. I'm not sure if I've posted this simple trick before but its always a good to come back to.

Making better photos is as easy as taking a few more steps toward your subject. Moving in closer eliminates more of the background, emphasizes your subject, and invokes a lot more emotion. Here are a few lovely pictures of my offical photo tip model, Debra. See which one is your favorite!
