Rikina + Frederick | Engagement Session
Based on the first five minutes I spent with Rikina and Frederick at yesterday's engagement session, I wasn't expecting them to say they had been together 8 years already. After all, they were in love like two people still in that "honeymoon" stage. Maybe they have just found out the way to make that feeling last a lot longer...

Sunsets and Romance | Jackie + David
They say it's always the prettiest after the rain. At least that was the case during Jackie and David's engagement session earlier this week. After rescheduling half a dozen times we decided to just stick to it, rain or shine. And you know what, it was worth the risk.

Downtown Engagement Session | Mitch + Morgan
I always love to secretly watch and see how people act on the in between parts of our engagement sessions. You know... what they do when we aren't taking photos. Most people just talk, or smile at each other. Then there are those people that just don't want to stop even after you tell them to stop kissing. The ones that are so in love that they can't help it. Enter Mitch and Morgan:

Mary's Cottage Greenville Wedding | Kelly + Michael
You know what I realized? Kelly and Michael's wedding at Mary's Cottage this past weekend was my 100th wedding. That's pretty dang special. You know what's even more awesome? I keep on seeing new things at every wedding I go to. Take for instance the fact that Kelly and Michael's wedding was the very first wedding I've photographed where the minister asked for the rings and... one was missing. This was of course followed by Kelly's mom running upstairs to frantically search for it. After a very uniquely awkward (but entertaining) 5 minutes, she arrived back, ring and hand, and the ceremony continued. It's times like this that make every wedding a new adventure, even after photographing 100 of them.
With that little piece of excitement out of the way we spent some time exploring Falls Park, high-fiving strangers on main-street, and catching up with guests for some drinks at Smoke On the Water just a block away. Thanks again for having me there Kelly and Michael! I had a blast and you were both so much fun to capture!

Thanks again guys!
Ceremony: Mary's Cottage
Flowers: Bride
Officiant: Brenda Owens
Afterwards: Smoke on the Water + Lazy Goat
