Downtown Engagement Session | Mitch + Morgan
I always love to secretly watch and see how people act on the in between parts of our engagement sessions. You know... what they do when we aren't taking photos. Most people just talk, or smile at each other. Then there are those people that just don't want to stop even after you tell them to stop kissing. The ones that are so in love that they can't help it. Enter Mitch and Morgan:

Spring Is Here! | Amanda and William's Engagement Shoot
Finally some warmer weather! Has this winter been long or is it just me? I guess this officially means I've gotten used to these southern winters. I don't know what I'd do if I was still up in New York and it was still snowing (seriously, it just snowed up there again yesterday!).
I met up with Amanda and William late last week to capture their engagement photos and search for some early spring colors. Between talking about her job at whole foods (where she works in marketing) and William's amazing sense of patience in dealing with customers at Verizon, we actually found some pretty fantastic colors to work with. These guys are also my very first couple for my 2014 wedding lineup! Really looking forward to being up at their wedding next March in North Carolina. Here's a few of my favorites from our session:

Thanks again guys!

Falls Park Suspension Bridge Greenville Proposal Photography
I had been waiting in the public restroom outside of Overlook Grille for thirty minutes now. Where were they? Normally I'd assume they forgot about me, but I wasn't waiting around for just any session: Webb was going to propose to his girlfriend of three years on the bridge in falls park. Another fifteen minutes went by. Where the heck was he!? No text messages, no phone calls, no nothing. As soon as I got up to leave I just about hit him on the way out. Gotta hate traffic. By this time it was totally pitch black out so we had a slight change of plans to do the usually super-crowded suspension bridge. As they walked past what looked like just another stranger sitting on a bench, I picked up my camera and followed just behind...

Thanks so much for having me capture such an awesome moment! Congrats again guys!

Cars and British Accents | Doug and Nargis Engagement
Even before we met, me and Doug hit it off pretty well. He likes cars. Good cars. Like he really wants a Bright Red BMW Z4. Which makes me miss mine even more. Ironically enough, we came across one during the shoot. I wonder if its a sign. Anyways, back to the lovey stuff!
Nargis and him met 6 years ago on a cruise ship in the UK and hit it off really well. Doug gave Nargis his email so they could stay in contact. Except that email didn't work. Years went by. Somehow Doug popped back into her mind though, and some lengthy searching (thanks google!), Nargis finally found his email address and go in touch with him. Only one other problem. He was then living in Atlanta. They wrote back and forth and took trips to see each other and now they are getting married later this year in Hawaii. Crazy right? I know what your going to ask me, and no I don't have a staff writer that makes this stuff up. Here's a few from our shoot the other day! Enjoy!

Laura + KC | Engagement
True Story: We had so much fun on Laura and KC's engagement session that they hid left their keys and cellphone in my camera bag so that I would be forced to see them again later on that night. Ok ok, that's not completely true. But I did get to see them a couple times that day AND we did an awesome time walking all over downtown Greenville. Here's a few of my favorites. Can't wait for your wedding later this year!

Note to self & Future engagement session people: Make sure to remind Josh to give you your keys back before he leaves :)
