Purples and Yellows | Jennifer and Dan's Engagement Shoot
One of the best things about Greenville is that even when it gets cold, there are always gorgeous colors around. Well at least in Falls Park, where we captured Jennifer and Dan's enagagement session late last week. Even though they were only in town from Tennessee for a few hours we definitely made the most of it. Running though the beautiful purples and yellows of falls park, frolicking in the middle of lavender bushes, and chasing the sunset down main street.

Table Rock Lodge State Park Wedding | Sarah + Adam
There's just something about being up in the mountains during the fall. The crisp air. The gorgeous leaves. I always try to take at least one day off during the fall to get up there to go hiking. It always clears my mind. There's just something really peaceful about it. And I think that Sarah and Adam would agree. They held their wedding up at the beautiful Table Rock Lodge at Table Rock State Park, right at the base of the mountains. Filled with rustic fall decor, their close family and friends, and the beautiful views of the mountains, it was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding.

Twelve years later | Micky + Rachael
I've always been a big fan of photos. Yes that probably isn't surprising coming from me, but even before I really took on the role of a "photographer" images were still important to me. Images are powerful things. They allow you to go back in time and remember how you felt at that very time. Outside of time machines, not a lot of things can do that. And as the years slowly tick by that opportunity to go back to those moments is lost.
When I learned that my good friends Micky and Rachael hadn't had more than a handful of photos taken of them after their wedding 12 years ago, I knew as a friend and fellow photographer I had to step in and help. So this is Micky and Rachael, twelve years later, still together, and still very much in love.

Twigs Greenville South Carolina Wedding | Diana + Clint
When Lynn (Mother of the Bride) said to me "Well, I hope we made things interesting for you" she couldn't have been more right. Yea, it rained a bit that day, and a certain key participant in the wedding was a tad late, but you know what? Lynn is right, those are the things that make weddings so interesting. The unpredictability. The exciting social experiment you get every time you bring a bunch of families together. People ask me all the time if I get sick of weddings. These are some of these reasons that each and every wedding completely different than the one before it.
Diana and Clint were married this past weekend at Twigs here in Greenville, SC. With the beautiful backdrop of the Tempietto, loving friends and families, the little things all fell away to reveal the reason why everyone came: to watch Diana and Clint start the rest of their life, together.

Thanks again for having us guys! We wish both the best in the future!
