Younts Center Wedding | Furman's Daniel Chapel Ceremony

I always joke around with Furman Alumni that also decide to do their wedding's there that they don't need to spend much on decorations. After all, half their tuition dollars went to landscaping. Seriously though, the Furman campus is probably one of the most meticulously groomed college campuses I've been on. A rose garden, fountains everywhere, perfectly aligned rows of oak trees lining the black-swan graced lake. Yea it's pretty awesome, especially for photography.

Allison and Kenny were married at the beautiful Daniel Chapel, right there on the center of Furman's campus. With a gorgeously decorated wedding reception just down the road at the Younts Center, it was a perfect backdrop to celebrate their new marriage. The awesome sounds of "Peace and Love" helped keep the party going all the way until the streamer laced exit. Downtown Engagement Session | Mitch + Morgan

I always love to secretly watch and see how people act on the in between parts of our engagement sessions. You know... what they do when we aren't taking photos. Most people just talk, or smile at each other. Then there are those people that just don't want to stop even after you tell them to stop kissing. The ones that are so in love that they can't help it. Enter Mitch and Morgan:

I'm gonna let everyone in on a little personal secret. I cry. At weddings. Yes, I know I'm a man. I know they aren't supposed to do that. But... it just happens sometimes.

And I don't think it's happened as much as it did this past weekend at Adam and Laura's wedding at the Crest Center in Asheville (with the exception of my own wedding). The raw emotion was just off the charts. From the first sighting, to the stunning ceremony, to incredible intimacy these guys have, it's just hard not to feel the excitement.

Of course the setting was also very fitting. The Crest Center set the perfect stage with panoramic views of the blue ridge mountains outside of Asheville, awesome rustic details, and an awesome sunset. And don't think just because everyone was all emotional during the ceremony that these guys don't know how to party... because they rock the dance floor (at least for white people).
